President Museveni arrives in Tanzania for Joint Summit of Heads of state & government
NEWS- The President of the Republic of Uganda HE Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa has landed in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Gen. Museveni arrived this morning of 8th February 2025 aboard the Uganda airlines and was received by his Tanzanian counterpart Samiya Suluhu Hassan.
His arrived in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania for the Joint Summit of Heads of State and Government.
The summit, bringing together leaders from the Southern African Development Community and the East African Community.
The ongoing summit is focused on addressing the security crisis in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.
All these follow the unending war crisis in Eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo between the government forces and the March 23 Movement (M23) rebels.
The M23 rebels recently announced the capture of Goma, the largest town in Eastern DRC.
