NEWS– The Vice Chancellor of the famous Makerere University Barnabas Nawangwe has met and held talks with the Ambassador of Somalia in Uganda Her Excellency Ms. Fardossa Mohammed Kanyare.
Nawangwe hosted the Somalia ambassador on Thursday 6th February 2025 in his office at Makerere University.
According to Nawangwe, him and Her Excellency Ms. Fardossa Mohamed Kanyare discussed opportunities for collaboration between Makerere and Somalia’s universities.
He added that they also discussed opportunities for Somalis to study at Makerere University.
“Currently students from 64 countries, including 46 african countries are studying at Makerere University” Nawangwe revealed.
