RUKUNGIRI- Rwenshaka Sacco members have been urged to adopt and boost their saving culture if they’re to create wealth within their communities.
The remarks were made by Nsubuga Steven Bewayo, the Rukungiri Resident Commissioner who represented the Rujumbura County Member of Parliament Jim Muhwezi Katugugu during the 21st annual general meeting that was held at Ruhinda sub county headquarters.
Nsubuga urged members to develop mindset changes that will positively impact their families instead of wasting time on unprofitable ventures.
The RDC asked the SACCO leaders to always employ competent and integral people who are not greedy for people’s savings. Bewayo delivered Minister Muhwezi’s one million shillings contribution towards supporting the sacco.
As we get closer to the Political season, Nsubuga urged members to desist from bad habits of defamation but rather support leaders who bring service delivery to communities.
