Christians have been challenge to stick to their responsibilities if they are to foster development in their respective families.
The remarks were made by Mujuni Lawrence Mpitsi Singa while officiating at Nyakiju church of Uganda in Kitojo parish Nyabitete arch deaconry North Kigezi diocese. Mpitsi said its paramount for men to fulfill their responsibilities as well as loving their wives stressing that this does not only help to eliminate domestic violence but also fosters country’s development.

Mpisi who is eyeing the Rubabo county parliamentary seat delivered the same message at Nyarutare church of Uganda in Rwenyangi parish Kyamakanda archdeaconry, where they’re celebrating Mary’s day.


At Nyarutare, Mpisi challenged women to obey their husbands and take the good example of Mary who was a hardworking, Discipline woman and God fearing woman. He additionally challenged young girls to maintain their holiness by avoiding Pre-marital sex, among others that would deter their walk to eternity

Rev. Nathan Muhumuza of Kitojo parish hailed men at Nyakiju for empowering St. Peter’s day noting that this will enhance peace in families. He challenged men to desist from bad habits like alcoholism, smoking and adultery if they are to succeed in their Marriages.


Topher Kakurugu the Nyakiju church of Uganda father’s union chairperson hailed the church of Uganda for availing the union which he says such brings men together to love their wives and working towards development
