NEWS– Frank Besigye Kyerere, NRM Chairperson of Rwamucucu Sub County in Rukiga District, has lost his bid for NRM positions at the parish level. At Murambi Polling Station in Nyarurambi Parish, Kyerere contested for three positions but was unsuccessful.
In the NRM Chairperson position, Kyerere lost to Elia Niwamanya Kihumuro with 131 votes to Kihumuro’s 159. Kyerere contested the results before opting to run for vice chairman, general secretary, and publicity positions.

He demanded a fresh vote, but the public and voters protested, turning against him. When confronted by EYE Television cameras, Kyerere left the scene, abandoning his wife, Provia Kyerere.
