NEWS-The ministry of Education and sports has warned proprietors of institutions against forcing children to test for Covid-19 as schools set to reopen on Monday 10th January 2022.
Speaking to journalists at Uganda Media center in Kampala today morning, the Director of Basic Education in the ministry of education Ismail Mulindwa narrated that they have received complaints from parents and guardians who have been forced to pay extra fees to some private health facilities to have their children tested for Covid 19.
Mulindwa added that they will soon release a statement regarding the matter.
Schools are set to re-open on January 10th after close to over two year.
