NEWS- Referees and Club coaches in Rukungiri district were asked to unite and cooperate to develop talents of young generations in Rukungiri district.
The remarks were made by the Rukungiri District Football Association Chairperson Arinaitwe Amos Buhe during the association’s elections that were held at Rukungiri district headquarters.
Arinaitwe said football isn’t a war but an event that brings togetherness and develop talents of young people. He called upon all the committee and stakeholders to support him to build the sports career together not only in Rukungiri Kigezi region as a whole.

Gumisiriza Memory, the current interim chairperson for Rukungiri District referees, said the election went well and hailed Federation of Uganda’s Football Association for standardizing such elections.
He promised cooperation among the clubs and their representatives in Rukungiri district.

Jackline Tibarokore the Returning officer from FUFA announced Arinaitwe Amos Buhe as the election winner for the position of the chairperson Rukungiri football association, Gumisiriza Memory as the chairperson for referee and Natuhwera Promise to represent females at the region level.
