NEWS– All isn’t well in the Judiciary arm of the government and the law society following the untimely death of one them that has left law community members shaken.
The deceased is Her worship Marion Mangeni who by the time of her death was the Head of Law reporting at Uganda Legal Information Institute.
Her Worship Mangeni died on Wednesday 4th December, 2024 during evening hours from Mengo Hospital where she has been admitted battling a yet to be confirmed illness.
The shaking grief news of Mangeni’s death has been confirmed by the Judiciary of Uganda that took to its social media handles to announce her demise.
“We regret to announce the passing of Her Worship Marion Mangeni, Head of Law Reporting at Uganda Legal Information Institute (Uganda_LII)”, part of the ULII social media post read.
The Judiciary applauded Her worship Marion Mangeni for her dedication to ensuring access to legal information which they said was unparalleled.
“As we mourn this great loss, Uganda_LII operations will be temporarily inactive. We appreciate your understanding during this difficult time as we honor her legacy and contributions to the legal community”, they added.
