Senior journalist quits NTV Uganda after 8 years of service

NEWS– It is yet again another heavy blow for the National media group’s owned NTV Uganda as they bid farewell to one of their best news reporters amd Senior journalist.

Joyce Diana Nakato decided to call it quits from the Serena based famous television after 8 years of service.

Posting on her X handle formerly twitter Nakato said “For the last 8 years, NTV, Spark TV have been home. It’s here that I have told stories close and dear to my heart, met and worked with some of the most wonderful people”.

As she closed the NTV Uganda chapter, Joyce Diana Nakato expressed her gratitude for the chance given to work with a “formidable team”.

“As I move  into the next chapter of my professional journey, I leave behind a formidable team, working to continue changing the media landscape. It has been my greatest honor to have been part of this journey”, she wrote on her socials.

NTV Uganda also took to its socials to thank and bid farewell to their own expressing their gratitude for her dedication, passion and incredible work.

“After 8 remarkable years with @ntvuganda and @sparktvuganda, we say goodbye to our very own @jdiana956  as she embarks on an exciting new career path. We are beyond grateful for your dedication, passion, and the incredible work you’ve done with us”, NTV Uganda social media posts read.

Nakato’s impact on NTV Uganda has been profound from reporting on education,  religion, and health for NTVAkawungeezi and NTVTonight to her contributions to the YogeraNaffe team. 

They wished Nakato success and fulfillment in her next journey in life and reminded her that doors are open as NTV Uganda will always be her home.
