NEWS– The current news on our desk indicate that the Buhweju District vice chairperson Expedito Rukundo is dead.
The news of Rukundo’s death was confirmed by Hon. Francis Mwijukye, the Buhweju area member of parliament who was also a close friend to the deceased.
According to Mwijukye, his close friend & the Rukundo has on 10th October 2024 succumbed to multiple organ failures today at Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital.
It is said that Mr. Rukundo has been battling Diabetes for a long time.
Hon. Mwijukye has described the deceased Rukundo as such a great pillar in Buhweju and that his death has left a big gap stressing that they shall dearly miss him.
Mr. Expedito Rukundo will be laid to rest on Saturday,12th October, 2024 at his ancestral home in Ntobora, Karungu sub county, Buhweju District.
