NEWS– As the saying goes what belongs to you, will come to you, being inmates at Mbarara main pros has not hindered them from accessing education .
A total of 16 inmates from Mbarara Main Prison are among the candidates sitting for their 2024 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education Examinations.
The sixteen are sitting for their examinations at Gracious Secondary School, alongside other candidates of the same school .
Among the inmates are two science students and 14 are pursuing arts.
Mr. Elvis Kasangaki, the Gracious Secondary’s head teacher expressed support for hosting the inmates noting the school’s religious values.
Kasangaki noted that he remains hopeful that both the inmates and regular students will achieve good results.
