RUKUNGIRI- As a way of corporate social responsibility, the Manchester United fans Rukungiri chapter yesterday donated assorted food, clothing, sugar and other necessities to vulnerable households in Nyakagyeme and Kebisoni sub counties in Rukungiri district.
The team led by their chairperson Zepha Karyia among others said they normally do charitable work in lent period to vulnerable families as well as encouraging them to pray and love God.
Karyija said this is not the first time donating such items, and yearly they normally plan activity to enhance relationships and contribute to the well-being of the communities.

Byamukama Jolkam the Chapter’s coordinator incharge of welfare said they contributed this money through their whatsapp group to a tune of Ugx 1,750,000.
Previously the same group did charitable work, donating a refrigerator to the archdeacon of Kakinga Church in Kebisoni, seats to All Saints and Christ the King Churches respectively all in Rukungiri Municipality.
