RUKUNGIRI- It was joy and glamour yesterday among the Christians of Rukondo Church of Uganda under Rujumbura Archdeaconry as they welcome a lay reader Hannington Tumutegyereize after spending 29 year without any.
This was revealed by Rev Musinguzi Henry of Rukondo Church of Uganda who called for support and cooperation among Christians since they have got a reinforcement in Church leadership, something that will ease pastoral visits, praying for sick, among other roles.

Rev Tugume Moses the curate all saints’ church who represented the archdeacon called for harmony and to utilize the new lay reader in spreading evangelism and asked him to be a unifying agent.

Hannington Tumutegyereize pledged allegiance to work hand in hand with all Christians in spreading evangelism and called for support to uplift revival in Rukondo. He hailed Christians from All saints church and business community from town for supporting him and giving him a memorable farewell.
