NEWS- News reaching this news desk have it that the former Kigali journalism school lecturer Christopher Kayumba is in Police custody over allegations of rape.
Kayumba faces allegations from several people, including a former student, according to the Rwanda Investigation Bureau (RIB).
Kayumba, 48, currently runs an online newspaper called “The Chronicles”.
Kayumba got well known in when he set up a political party in opposition to President Paul Kagame.
It is said that allegations of rape surfaced against Kayumba on social networks but he denied all them stressing that they are aiming at tunishing his name.
