RUKUNGIRI- Parents have been urged to always give their children enough time to showcase their talents especially football since these talents have proved to be sources of income.
The Uganda cranes and NEC football club player Paul Mucureezi made the remark yesterday during the church service at Christ believers’ temple Katoogo cell, Nyamayenje in Southern Division, Rukungiri Municipality that was intended to pray for Uganda cranes team to qualify for World cup.
Mucurezi noted that some Ugandan parents still take sports as a waste of time calling for mindset change stressing that parents can motivate their children to tap on this income source citing himself as an example.
He however cautioned the youths not to focus only at sports and forget education, emphasizing that sports earns even much better once one is educated.

The Christ believers temple leader, Evangelist Alfred Mugarura thanked Paul Mucureezi for honoring their invitation to pray from Uganda National Football team “The Cranes” only to qualify for World Cup but as well as winning the trophy.
The service was also to pray for Ugandan players also to get promotions and play for bigger clubs in the world.
Mugarura continued and requested the youths to observe discipline first, do away with irresponsible behaviors like alcoholism and witches in the name of being good sportsmen and women.

The Rukungiri district woman member of Parliament Hon Midius Natukunda Kaharaata expressed her gratitude to Paul Mucureezi for the gesture stressing that good things await him in future given this prayer.
Natukunda also expressed her gratitude to people of Rukungiri for voting her in 2021 Elections and requested them to accord her another term in the forthcoming elections to continue with development. She donated Ugx. 500000 to do God’s work.
