NTUNGAMO- The South Ankole Diocesan Education Coordinator Rev Innocent Mark Nabimanya has warned parents and guardians against selling off their land and other valuable properties to take children in expensive primary schools.

He advised parents to opt for UPE and USE schools if they cannot afford fees in privately owned schools.

Rev Nabimanya noted that it’s a great pity to sell land while the children are still in the nursery section to compete with rich parents.

While officiating at the 32nd top class graduation of Kyamate Integrated Model School at St Mathew’s Cathedral Kyamate, he requested them to take their children to schools that they can afford in order to complete the education cycle.

Rev Nabimanya also asked pupils to take firm the parents and teachers instructions and guard them well for thee are their life.

The head teacher of Kyamate Integrated Model School Loin Ninsiima Naome hailed the parents and guardians for supporting the school with their children.

Ninsiima thanked all committees for their unit and cooperation which has enabled the school to perform well at the National level.

Chairman school management committee Namanya Joshua and Katamirwa Kenneth chairman PTA tasked the parents to be keen to their children during the forthcoming festivals and long holiday.
