NEWS– The territorial Police in West Nile Region have charged 16 suspects in connection with the murder of Dr. Paul Drilaba the former Arua District Health Officer DHO
The former District Health Officer of Arua. Dr. Drilaba was murdered on 23rd November, 2024 at Oyeku Village, Ajia Sub County.
SP Collins Asea, the West Nile region Police spokesperson noted that the police are working closely with the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions to ensure the case is prosecuted effectively.
“Evidence collection is ongoing to build a strong case against those involved”, he added.
The police spokesperson urged the community to remain calm and allow the legal process to unfold.
He stressed that the Uganda Police Force is committed to upholding the rule of law and ensuring justice for Dr. Drilaba’s family and the community.
