The National Resistance Movement (NRM) spokesperson, Emmanuel Dombo, has called on citizens to focus their efforts on the ruling party rather than opposition parties, emphasizing the importance of continuity in development.

His remarks were made at the residence of Hon. Arthur Kazoora in Rwakikambuzi, Nyakihita Parish, during an event to prepare NRM flag bearers for the upcoming elections.

Dombo highlighted the need for party members to unite and protect their votes from potential theft, urging those who lost in the NRM primaries to support the official flag bearers rather than run as independents.

He stressed that such actions could weaken the party’s strength. Dombo expressed gratitude to the people of Ruhinda South for their support of Kazoora, whom he believes will elevate the constituency to new heights. He also called for unwavering support for President Museveni and the NRM to safeguard their achievements.

Hon. Ekyarampe Rabbecah Namanya, the NRM flag bearer for Mitooma District’s woman member of Parliament, expressed her appreciation for the support she has received.

Thanking God for favorable weather, she acknowledged Dombo’s visit and the overwhelming backing from the constituents. Namanya urged her fellow candidates to rally behind her and foster unity within the party, emphasizing the importance of collaboration among Mitooma leaders to effectively serve the community.

Hon. Arthur Kazoora, the host of the gathering and flag bearer for Ruhinda South, expressed gratitude to the attendees for their overwhelming support. He shared his vision for a developed Mitooma, committed to fighting corruption.

Kazoora thanked Dombo for supervising the NRM grassroots efforts and recognized the importance of maintaining strong support from his constituents. He encouraged them to remain active in securing his position and announced the establishment of village savings and credit cooperatives (SACCOs) to assist residents in overcoming financial challenges.

As the elections approach, the NRM continues to emphasize unity and collaboration among its members to ensure success at the polls.
