NEWS-The Minister for presidency, Milly Babalanda has noted that no Ugandan should be denied services because they are not vaccinated.
Communicating through a tweet on her official Twitter handle, the minister noted that she had received concerns that some Resident District Commissioners (RDCs) and Resident City Commissioners (RCCs) were denying services to the unvaccinated.
A number of government entities such as the National Drug Authority and the Ministry of Health have already issued directives to their workforce to get vaccinated or else be barred from accessing office grounds.
Last week the Deputy Speaker of Parliament Anita Among also told Members of Parliament, that they will be required to present their COVID-19 vaccinations card to attend sittings, stressing that legislators need to lead by example so that the citizens are encouraged to take up the Covid-19 vaccines.
