NEWS– The police in Pallisa district are investigating circumstances surrounding the sudden death of a 36 year old man.
The deceased has been identified as Sam Okoya a resident of Pallisa District.
It is alleged that Sam Okoya died while being prayed for during a healing session at Agape Born Again church.
Up on receiving information, police swung in action and arrested John Okanyanga, the Agape Born Again Church Pastor and another church member known as Suzan Amoding Joyce.
It is further alleged that Okoya, who was suffering from stomach complications and suspected malaria was removed from a local drug shop and taken to the church where he was tied with ropes and prayed over.
He later passed away during the prayer session and the two suspects fled the scene leaving the deceased’s body behind before they were arrested.
