Police in Nansana have in custody a teenage mother who allegedly dumped her six week son Ezra Bogere to the toilet.
According to Police spokesperson, Fred Enanga the suspect is Shanita Nalumansi 15 years ,a resident of Nansana East A 1 zone in Nansana Municipality .
Its alleged that Shanita dropped out of school in P.7 after she was defiled and impregnated. After giving birth, she was neglected by the alleged father of the son, who demanded DNA proof.
Report shows shanita as a hair dresser in a local salon,she faked the disappearance of her son claiming she had left her son on the veranda.
The incident occurred on Friday 11/11/ 2022 at around 1.30 p.m.
Police spokesperson, Fred Enanga says the scene was visited and the body of the victim retrieved on November 12
Enanga warned teen mothers that child murder is a punishable offence.
