Leaving boy child behind won’t spare future families- Dan Musinguzi

RUKUNGIRI- Government and non-governmental organizations have been charged to advocate for the boy child in a bid to prepare good future husbands for the already empowered girl child.

This was revealed by Dan Musinguzi as he officiated at the 2nd graduation ceremony of 29 top class pupils at Rwenkurijo Primary School in Nyakaina parish in Buyanaj Sub County.

Musinguzi stressed that most gender-based violence cases are a result of poor grooming and paying less attention to boy child.

He added that parents play a crucial role in shaping their children’s moral compass, discipline as well as their future direction and well-being.

Dan Musinguzi pledged 30 bags of cement to help in construction of the school pit latrine.

Rev Fr. Chrispino Mubangizi asked parents to instill discipline in their children, help them develop charity spirit at a young stage and spiritual formation within their families that will shape them into important people in future.

Nuwagaba Alex, the head teacher Rwenkurijo Primary school head teacher thanked parents for trusting them with their children and the support they have always rendered towards the development of the school.

Nuwagaba committed to keep the push for quality education as long as parents play their part in education of their children.
