RUKUNGIRI- As the holy month of Ramadan clocks, Rukungiri municipality hopeful Member of Parliament Counsel Isaac Atukunda yesterday honored the Muslim community with Ramadan Sadaqa to all mosques in Rukungiri municipality.
Counsel Isaac delivered food items including rice and maize flour to Muslims of Rukungiri main Mosque, Marumba, Burengyero in Katwe Kamwe and Ruruku mosque all in Rukungiri municipality.
While receiving the food items at Rukungiri Muslim district Kadhi Sheikh Abdul Malik Byaruhanga Kayole thanked Counsel Isaac Atukunda for his generosity and pledged a continued working relationship for the development of Muslim community.
Kayole told Muslims that this is the right time to repent and turn to Allah (God) during Ramadhan.

Counsel Isaac Atukunda revealed that he is recognizing the importance of Ramadan and its significance to Muslims especially from Rukungiri municipality.
Atukunda was flanked by different dignitaries including councilor Kapesha Johnson, councilor Kenneth Mushabe, Esther Rwamunahe, Innocent Muhwezi among others.
He advised Muslims to pray during the holy month of Ramadan so that Allah can meet their necessities.
