Bishop Onesmus Asimwe of North Kigezi Diocese has urged men to prioritize God in their lives and support one another to foster responsible family development.

The remarks were made yesterday during a one-day conference held at Emmanuel Cathedral Kinyasano, where a large turnout of men from across the diocese gathered.

Bishop Asimwe expressed gratitude to the fathers for their commitment to God and highlighted the importance of nurturing those beneath them. He emphasized that by doing so, they could pave the way for future leaders, thereby contributing to the development of families, churches, and the nation as a whole.

He strongly advocated for men to be role models, stating that good examples would lead to a reduction in domestic violence and promote a healthier society.
