The chairperson for NRM Rukungiri district who is also the Minister for Security Hon. Maj. Gen. Jim Katugugu Muhwezi has urged all party supporters to throw their weight behind party flag bearers in the forthcoming 2026 general elections.
Hon. Jim Muhwezi who was represented by his political Assistant made the remarks yesterday Sunday while officiating as the guest of honor during the fundraising organized by Rurengye Catholic Church in Nyakabungo Parish Buyanja Sub County to express their gratitude to Ronald Manyindo, their catchiest, for his excellent work in preaching the gospel.
Ronald Manyindo is an NRM cadre hailing from Nyakinengo Parish in Nyakagyeme Sub County Rukungiri district.
Addressing the Christians, Kaharuza on behalf of Hon. Jim Muhwezi called on voters to reconcile and rally behind NRM flag bearers, who were elected during party elections.
He said the party candidates should be given a mandate of leadership because NRM has the best interests of the people of Rukungiri and Uganda at large.
Kaharuza commended Ronald Manyindo for collaborating with the government to ensure that people’s actions are both in accordance with God’s will and in terms of progress.
Agaba Emmy Rubondo, the chairperson LC3 Buyanja Sub County urged Church leaders to always serve God through compassionate action, following the example of Jesus’ life and ministry.
Ronald Manyindo, catchiest at Rurengye Catholic Church thanked his Christians for the love and cooperation rendered since he was posted in the area.
