Tusaidiane Trust Uganda, a non-governmental organization has donated scholastic materials worth 50M Uganda shillings to ten Universal Primary Education (UPE) schools across Ruhinda Sub County in Rukungiri district.
The donation included text books, footballs, computers, printing machines, art supplies for nursery pupils among others.
During the handover ceremony to school head teachers and Management committees at Rwoya Primary School in Ruhinda Sub County Rukungiri district yesterday, Natuhwera Vanansio Bagatireyo, the coordinator of Tusaidiane Trust Uganda said that they are passionate about children and their education and that they’re looking forward to seeing children access right scholastic materials.
Natuhwera urged teachers to engage with children and make good use of the books and other donated materials to help them learn how to read even after school hours.

Ms. Helen Kabajungu, the Ruhinda Sub County chairperson who was the chief guest during the handover ceremony urged parents and guardians to invest in their children’s education by supporting schools to secure a better future for them.
Kabajungu expressed her heartfelt gratitude for Tusaidiane Trust Uganda’s contribution urging beneficially schools to make proper use of the donated materials for better academic results.

Fr. Martin Nkurunziza, chaplain for schools under Rwamagaya Catholic Parish praised Tusaidiane Trust Uganda for assisting the government and the church in general, which will raise pupils’ educational standards.

Turinawe Julius, Byaruhanga Charles and Banyenzaki Ronald some of the leaders from the beneficiary schools expressed gratitude for the donation, stating that the scholastic materials will greatly benefit learners both in class and in curriculum activities.
