NEWS– Property worth millions of money at Rukunyu hospital in Kamwenge district has been to reduced to ashes following a devastating fire.
Reports indicate that fire from a yet to established source erupted at the Kamwenge district based government hospital on the night of Thursday 5th December 2024.
Among the destroyed property are the drug store and vital medical supplies, including drugs and solar batteries.
This news has been confirmed by SP Kato Mugisha the District Police Commander DPC Kamwenge district.
It is said that despite efforts to control the blaze, it lasted over three hours.
