NEWS-The Deputy Speaker of Parliament Anita Among has told members of Parliament that President Yoweri Museveni will address the nation on the fight against corruption on Thursday.
International Anti-Corruption Day ,is marked December 9 and Uganda will commemorate it at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds in Kampala.
Amongi said if they agree as Parliament and communities that they are going to fight corruption, it will help in creating more jobs and securing wider essential services such as roads, schools and hospitals.
The woman mp Bukedea district said ,Parliament is committed to support the Anti-corruption agencies to do their work.
She noted that when MPs are paid a salary and they don’t show up to do their work, that is corruption.
