The Minister for Security also the Rukungiri district NRM chairperson Hon. (Rtd) Maj. Gen. Jim Katugugu Muhwezi has urged people to make the most of their lives and leave a lasting legacy so that they will be remembered once they are dead.
Hon. Jim Muhwezi noted that whereas life is fragile, people should endeavor to do something that will leave a mark on earth.
He made the remarks today afternoon during a visit to the family of the late Kashumbusha Laurence Tycoon in Kagarama Village, Eastern division Rukungiri Municipality to pay respect in his honor.
Kashumbusha Laurence Tycoon who passed away on 12th September 2025, at the age of 58 was the chairperson NRM for Eastern division in Rukungiri Municipality.
The family led by Monica Batabire, the widow, received Minister Jim Muhwezi at their home.
In a heartfelt message, the Minister expressed his condolences to the bereaved family.
Minister Jim Muhwezi called upon the people to strive for legacies to make sure their names keep shining even after departing from this world.

The Minister said that the death of Laurence Tycoon was tragic, describing him as the NRM cadre who fostered unity during his tenure as leader.
