Primary Seven candidates at Kinyasano Boarding Primary School have expressed their determination to achieve outstanding results in the upcoming Ugandan National Examinations Board (UNEB) exams scheduled for early November. This declaration came during their farewell party, marking the completion of their primary education.

The candidates gathered at their school premises in Kinyasano, Southern Division, where they shared their aspirations with journalists. Among them, Amanya Sympathy and Ainembabazi Ashipa expressed gratitude to the Almighty God for the opportunity to complete their primary education, as well as for their parents’ efforts in securing funds for their school fees.

“We are thankful for the administration and our headteacher for their commitment to providing quality education,” said Amanya. The candidates also acknowledged the dedication of their teachers, who have continued to teach them effectively amidst the ongoing National Arts Teachers’ strike.

In a message to younger students, the candidates encouraged them to remain hopeful and focused on their studies while respecting their teachers.

Headteacher MTumushangye Benard congratulated the Primary Seven candidates for reaching the culmination of their primary education. He announced that 151 candidates are prepared to sit for the Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE).

Tumushangye expressed gratitude to parents for their financial contributions toward the farewell party and confirmed that the syllabus for all subjects has been thoroughly covered.

He also commended the administration and service providers for their efforts in making the farewell event a memorable occasion and wished the best for the candidates as they prepare for their next educational journey.
