Police names victims in Paluda Refugee settlement camp lightning strike

NEWS– The police have identified victims in the Paluda Refugee settlement camp lightning strike.

The lightning strike at Paluda Refugee settlement camp left 14 people dead and 34 others injured.

The deceased have been identified as Thiluak Nyamaet, a female aged 17 a resident of Block 4, Zone 8, Tot Chaa, aged 18 a male resident of Block 1, Zone 8, Madol Wigjang 2, a Male resident of Block 3, Zone 8, Nyachot Mawichnyuon aged 17 female resident of Block 1, Zone 8 and Nyakueh Gatgueng aged 15, Female resident of Block 1, Zone 8.

Other victims are Jima Gat Tiok 14 male resident of Block 2, Zone, Tany Tai aged 12 female resident of Block 2, Zone 8, Tidial Gatluak aged 16 male, resident Block 2, Zone 8, Chop Matai Chop 15 Male resident of Block 2, Zone 8 and Nyagai Diew aged 9 resident of Block 2, Zone 8.

More of the victims accord to Rusoke Kituuma are Nyathak Mariner aged 12 Female resident of Block 2, Zona, Lul Riek John 14 Male resident of Block 2, Zone 8, Khamis Tut aged 14 Male resident of Block 1, Zone 8 and Tura Betu aged 14 Male resident of Block 3, Zone 8 all in Lamwo district.
