Shock has engulfed Residents of Kibwera B in Kyenzige Sub-county Kagadi district after a commercial house shade collapsed killing one person this morning.
The deceased has been identified as Fred Kwihangana a 55year old man resident of Kibwera B in Kyenzige sub-county, who was a practicing builder in the village working with other builders.
It is alleged that the deceased had been hired to fix cracks at the same building belonging to only Gerald where the shade collapsed covering him down. He was retrieved and rushed to Kyakabadima health center III where he had his last breath.
Jesca Maniragaba, the wife of the deceased, said the husband had no healthy problems and was also sober by the time he arrived at the building site.
Residents have highlighted issues that could have been among the possible causes that led to the incident saying the building was poorly leveled and above all it had been worked on by more than one engineer.
By press time police had not arrived at the scene.
