NEWS– The President of Uganda has appointed Michael Atingi-Ego as the new Governor of the Bank of Uganda.
Michael Atingi-Ego has been serving as the Deputy Governor of the Bank of Uganda.
In the same development, President Museveni also appointed Augustus Nuwagaba the new Deputy Governor.
The Bank of Uganda Governor seat fell vacant following the death of Prof. Tumusiime Emmanuel Mutebire.
