NEWS– The famous activist Ingrid Kamateneti Turinawe TIK has been arrested.
Ingrid was arrested on Monday 10th February 2025 by the Uganda Police force.
She was arrested together with two other People’s Front for Freedom PFF activists at the parliament of Uganda.
Ingrid and other PFF activists were at Parliament protesting the ongoing illegal detention of Dr. Besigye and Haji Obedi Kamulegeya.
Dr. Kizza Besigye and his colleague Hajji Obeid Lutale Kamulegeya are still detained at Luzira government prison despite the Supreme Court’s land judgement prohibiting Court martial from trying civilians.
