In a heartfelt demonstration of charity and compassion, the Christians of Christ Believers Temple have come together to support pregnant mothers at Kebisoni Health Center IV in Kebisoni Town Council, Rukungiri District.
Located in Rugongi Cell, Rwentondo Ward, in the Eastern Division of Rukungiri Municipality, the congregation organized a donation drive yesterday, providing essential items such as basins, soap, bread, jelly, sugar, rice, and more. This initiative aims to support both expectant mothers and those who have recently given birth, wishing them well on their journey.
Evangelist Alfred Mugarura Kaharata, the leader of Christ Believers Temple, emphasized the importance of such charitable work, stating that it puts God’s word into action. He expressed that those who participate in charitable activities are blessed by God, urging everyone to engage in acts of kindness to please God and help Christians attain eternal life.
Dr. Moreen Ayebazibwe, the doctor in charge of maternity at Kebisoni Health Center IV, highlighted the challenges faced by women who often lack essential materials during delivery. She expressed her gratitude to the Christians of Christ Believers Temple for their generous support, which will significantly improve the living conditions of these mothers.
Mothers such as Gloria Kyomugisha, Ayinemukama Lucky, and Akankunda Christine shared their heartfelt thanks for the support they received. They noted that the lack of materials during the delivery period is a significant challenge, and they hope to utilize the donated items to enhance their experiences during childbirth.
