NEWS– The Uganda Police Force and the entire security agencies in Uganda are mourning the death of former Inspector General of Police (IGP).
The former Uganda’s IGP Okoth Ogola passed on on 14th February 2025 at Nakasero hospital.
Okoth Ogola served in the Uganda Police force from 1981 to 1985.
The current IGP Abas Byakagaba has extended condolences to the family and ensured that the late IGP is honored in a manner fitting his legacy.
The police will provide updates on funeral arrangements.
According to Abas Byakagaba, Okoth Ogola’s leadership and contributions to the Uganda Police Force will be remembered and cherished.
