Rubaare secondary school rejoice earning result one in UCE examinations

NTUNGAMO- The students led by their head teacher Ms Mpeirwe Monic Atukunda and school staff Members while in a procession cut off the section of Kabale -Ntungamo road as they rejoice the results of Uganda Certificate of Education 2024 exams.

Result one implies that all candidates in that result qualified to get a certificate and can join any level of higher institutions of learning.

Ms Mpeirwe said 176 being the pioneers of new curriculum at Rubaare Secondary School emerged with result one. She also noted that out 176 students none of them was a student of transitional examination aligned with the old curriculum. She thanked them for not betraying their teachers about their scramble to have them pass.

She expressed gratitude to teachers, School board of governors, PTA and parents at large for the support towards the performance of their children, despite the fire that gutted boys Dormitory and consumed all their belongings last year 15th November 2024.

Ms Mpeirwe stressed the need for more class room structures to accommodate the now increasing number of students, more teachers, library among others. She called upon parents to feed the school with more students.

Currently the school enrollment stands at over 1395 students.
