NEWS- Couples in Rukungiri district and Uganda as a whole have been urged to stop domestic violence and embrace love that will help them to thrive for years of togetherness.
This was said by Pastor Phionah Arinaitwe, the overseer of Karo Bethel Truth Center in Kitimba ward, Western Division in Rukungiri Municipality while officiating the handover of a four room house to Mr. Mwongyera Richard that was built by the christians of the same church in Kanyanku cell.
Pastor Phionah revealed that God encourages people to love one another, adding that couples should think together and cooperate as families rather than fighting over earthly riches.
She also encouraged people to help the needy as it is the act of expressing humanity towards others to which she thanked believers of Karo Bethel Truth Center for the support that they rendered to the family of Mwongyera to which they cooperatively constructed a house for him.

Turyabagyenyi Emmy, the councilor of representing people with disabilities, who doubles as the chairperson for works in Rukungiri Municipality acknowledged the act of humanity shown by the believers of Karo Bethel Truth Center by sheltering the family of Mwongyera.
He also revealed that Mwongyera has been in prison for thirteen years because of the domestic violence with his wife who then later demolished the house that they were living in and fled, leaving four children with no help.

Mwongyera Richard, whose church was built shared his grievances that he passed through after he was released from prison only to find that his house was demolished but thanked Pastor Phionah and believers of Karo Bethel Truth Center for the support that they have given to him.
Mwongyera also appealed to the well-wishers to support him revealing that his children are still schooling and need other basic needs.
