RUKUNGIRI-People who are preparing to bring in violence and destabilize the peace of Rukungiri people during coming festive season have been cautioned to come when they have made their will because they will be finished.
The tough warning was made by the Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Rukungiri Mr. Nsubuga Bewayo Stephen during an exclusive interview with our reporter especially on recent heavy deployment of security personnel within the district.
Speaking with our reporter, Nsubuga narrated that some wrong elements usually use festive seasons to destabilize the peace of people especially those who are politically motivated encouraging them to rather leave it than being crashed.
Nsubuga continued by assuring people of Rukungiri district that they will enjoy their Christmas festive peacefully since security has been deployed at every corner of the district.
Nsubuga however warned general public especially the youth against throwing stones to security personnel during their time of work noting that they have been ordered to disable everyone whoever try to do so.
He added that security personnel are there to keep peace and order calling upon the general public for cooperation.
Meanwhile Nsubuga called on general public to respect the Covid 19 preventive measure like curfew during this period saying that covid 19 is still around with us.
