NRM party launches leaders handbook for village based moblization

The ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party has launched a leader’s handbook for village based moblization ahead of the 2026 general elections.

The guide outlines the sequences and highlights of village – based moblization effort which will enable the party to secure a bigger victory than that if 2021.

Speaking the launch of the model at the party offices in Kampala, the director moblization NRM, Rosemary Nansubuga Ssenninde said this unprecedented village based moblization model speaks to the centrality of the branch leadership in the management of the party affairs.

This guide is a call to action for the leaders to propagate the main message the main message of protecting the gains and to consolidate the party’s achievements over the years.

In another development, the Speaker of Parliament Rt. Hon. Anita  Among, who also serves as the NRM 2nd National  Vice Chairperson (Female) has appealed to the people of Iganga to elect leaders who will work with  government to advance development and improve service delivery.

Addressing a gathering in Iganga on Sunday afternoon, Rt. Hon. Among noted that the government has implemented various initiatives aimed at uplifting citizens from poverty, urging the community to make full use of these opportunities.

She further emphasized that the NRM Manifesto, under the leadership of H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, is designed to benefit all groups including the youth, women, taxi operators, bodaboda riders, and persons with disabilities (PWDs),  calling  on the people of Iganga to continue supporting President Museveni and all NRM flag bearers to sustain the country’s progress and development.
