The Rujumbura County area Member of Parliament also the Security Minister Hon. Maj. Gen. Jim Katugugu Muhwezi officially kicked off his campaign tour yesterday to conversing support to retain his current parliamentary seat ahead of the forthcoming general elections.
Hon. Jim Muhwezi started his rallies in Kyaburere Parish, Bugangari Sub County at Kyaburere Health Centre (III), Omukinyinya trading Centre and Katerampungu Catholic Church respectively. Hundreds of electorate from Bugangari Sub County attended the campaign event for Minister Jim Muhwezi, who was backed by his wife Canon Suzan Muhwezi, friends, and well-wishers.
During the events, Jim Muhwezi called on the people of Bugangari to support him in securing the Rujumbura MP seat in the forthcoming general elections set for January 15th 2025 for the completion of his projects in all villages especially in fields of electricity and water. He attributed his past successes to the trust and confidence the people of Rujumbura County have placed in him.
Muhwezi emphasized his tireless efforts to serve his constituents and his commitment to not disappointing them. He also outlined his key achievements in Kyaburere Parish during his tenure including improved healthcare services, better road infrastructure, supporting churches, and schools among others.
