Blessed Parents Voc SS celebrates stellar performance in 2025 UCE

It was all joy and smiles as Blessed Parents Vocational Secondary School’s administrators, teachers, students, parents and well-wishers gathered to jubilate the performance of the school in the 2025 Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) results released by the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB).

The school, under the New Lower Secondary Competence-Based Curriculum (CBC), celebrated outstanding performance, with all 55 candidates achieving Result One.

Speaking while celebrating the good performance at the school’s main hall in Kebisoni town council Rukungiri district yesterday Monday 16th February 2026, Nobert Nuwagaba, the school head teacher  confirmed the results, expressing pride in the students’ hard work and the school’s collective effort.

Geoffrey Kyomukama, the Director of Blessed Parents Vocational Secondary School who is also the Rukungiri district chairperson LC5, lauded the disciplined learners, dedicated teachers, and supportive parents for the outstanding results.

At the event, Amos Nyesigyire, the Inspector of Schools in Rukungiri district reminded students that they are beginning a new academic phase and urged them to aim higher, emphasizing that the improved results demonstrate that consistent effort leads to success.

Canon YosiaTwirire, the chairperson Board of Governors Blessed Parents Vocational Secondary School who witnessed the function urged students that the best way to achieve academic success is to set realistic goals, practice self-control, and stay focused on their studies.

Mugume Esao and Tushemereirwe Gift, some of the candidates who passed well in 2025 UCE exams attributed the good academic performance to God’s great mercy, dedicated teachers, parents and an enabling academic environment provided by the school where all facilities are available.

The 2025 UCE results which were officially released on Friday 13th February 2026 by the Minister of Education and Sports and First Lady, Janet Kataaha Museveni mark the second cohort of learners assessed under the new Competence-Based Curriculum (CBC).
