PFF launches party cards in Rukungiri amidst calls for Unity

Hon Fred Turyamuhweza, the former Member of Parliament for Rujumbura County, has urged the People’s Front for Freedom party members to foster unity and support among their candidates ahead of the 2026 elections.

Turyamuhweza’s remarks were made during the launch of the party cards at Hotel Rozera in Southern Division, Rukungiri district Municipality.

He emphasized the importance of adhering to party guidelines as new structures are established and promised that mobilization efforts would soon expand to the sub-county and parish levels respectively.

Hon Roland Kaginda echoed Turyamuhweza’s sentiments, calling for members to prioritize unity over personal agendas. Kaginda stressed the need for collective effort to secure parliamentary seats in the upcoming elections.

Former woman MP Hon Betty Muzanira highlighted Dr. Kizza Besigye’s support for the party, noting its full registration and commitment to promoting equal opportunities for all Ugandans. Muzanira called on stakeholders to back their initiatives for national development.

Mugarura Aloysius, chairperson of Rukungiri District, addressed the importance of party registration, inviting members to join the People’s Front for Freedom as it aims to bring democracy and development to the region.
