RUKUNGIRI– The Minister for Security and Rujumbura County Member of Parliament Hon. Maj. Gen. Jim Katugugu Muhwezi has rallied the people of Rukungiri to support President Museveni, noting that the NRM government is committed to resolving people’s challenges.
Minister Jim Muhwezi made the call yesterday while addressing residents of Burama, Kakindo and Bugangari parishes all in Bugangari Sub County Rukungiri district as he resumed his community dialogues commonly known as Baraza in his constituency.
Muhwezi explained that the engagement is meant to raise awareness among citizens about the NRM government’s achievements and plans.‎
He noted that since their five year term of office began, NRM has achieved a lot in terms of improving the road infrastructure, electricity connectivity and distribution of safe and clean water to the population and continues to do much more even before general elections.

On behalf of the locals, Mwesigwa Brown, one of leaders from Burama Parish, described the accomplishments of the NRM government in their community and the personal contributions made by Minister Jim Muhwezi, stating that they are immeasurable, pledging their support in the forthcoming elections for the continuity of development.

For nearly a month, Hon. Jim Muhwezi has been conducting community dialogues in Rujumbura County, which will come to an end this week with Bugangari Sub County.
