In a powerful retreat held today at St. Peter’s Kyabugashe C.O.U, students from Kyabugashe High School gathered to reflect on living a purposeful life as a foundation for achieving excellence. The event, organized within the Nyakagyeme Sub County Rukungiri District, aimed to inspire students to cultivate habits that reflect positive values and personal growth.

Rev. Birungi William, one of the guest speakers, emphasized the need for self-awareness among the students. He highlighted that many behaviors are influenced by cultural upbringing, urging students to evaluate and transition away from negative habits. “Do not let the desires of the flesh dictate your actions,” he said, warning against selfishness and urging students to be guided by spiritual principles. He reminded them that life is temporary and that true fulfillment comes from living in alignment with higher values.
