NEWS– The executive of the Uganda Law Society, led by Isaac Ssemakadde, has stormed out of the annual New Year Law event organized by the judiciary at the Judiciary headquarters.
The Friday 7th February 2025 action was in protest of the assertion by Chief Justice Alfonse Owiny-Dollo that he ordered the President of the Law Society, Isaac Ssemakadde, be disallowed from delivering a speech at the event.
Owiny-Dollo stated that the frosty relationship shall be resolved only after the Society has issued an apology to Justice Musa Ssekana.
