NEWS- The Police in Mbarara City are holding three people on suspicions of multiple simple robbery.
SP Samson Kasasira, the Rwizi region police spokesperson identified the detained suspects as Gordon Agaba 31 a resident of Kakoba Central cell, Kakoba ward, his wife Victory Najuna Innocent Asiimwe aka buchaman a car washer.
Kasasira noted that the three were apprehended through an intelligence led operation on 18th February 2025 at around 8:00am.
The three were tracked by police due to numerous complaints from members of the public in areas of Ruti,Kakoba,Boma, Kamukuzi and Nyamitanga.
According to the police spokesperson, they were tracked and apprehended at their rented premises in Kakoba Central Cell and were found with suspected stolen property raging from laptop bags, jackets, a flat screen television, Mobile phones, Mattresses, radios and phone chargers.
All the mentioned items were recovered and exhibited at CPS Mbarara Police Station.
