Rukungiri’s Kinyasano Boarding Primary School celebrates impressive performance in 2022 PLE

Kinyasano Boarding Primary School located in Western Division Rukungiri municipality yesterday Wednesday awarded pupils for their outstanding performance in last year’s Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE).

Kinyasano Boarding Primary School has over the years been registering high numbers of pupils passing in Division.

Out of 110 candidates who sat for 2022 PLE, ninety one passed in Division One, whereas 9 passed in second division.

Ninety one best pupils who passed in division one received assortment of prizes including mattresses, books, and mathematical sets to enable them to start secondary school.

The North Kigezi Diocesan caretaker Bishop Patrick Tugume Tusingweire who was the chief guest during the function advised parents to nurture their children well in order for them to have a better future.

He said education is one of the most valuable tools a parent can give to his child, but he said some parents have denied their children a right to education by not taking them to school.

“Lay a good foundation for your children by ensuring that they get good education despite the economic challenges. I know we are all going through a lot because of the current economic situation but as parents we need to try our best and ensure our children get the best,” Bishop Tugume said.

He however thanked the teachers, parents and pupils of Kinyasano boarding primary school for the effort rendered towards the better performance of the school.

Banada Tumushangye the headteacher Kinyasano boarding primary school congratulated the pupils for their performance and urged them to continue to shine for their own good.

Tumushangye appealed to parents, guardians to pay attention to their children as they continue with their studies.

He also urged pupils to be disciplined as they join other levels of education if they are to be successful in their academic journey.

Tumushangye called for support from parents to build new school structures to accommodate the increasing number of pupils in their school.
