Museveni donates brand new vehicle to South Ankole Diocesan Bishop

NTUNGAMO- State House on Friday morning, February 28th 2025 handed over a brand new Toyota Prado numberless vehicle to the South Ankole Diocesan Bishop Rt. Rev Nathan Ahimisibwe to facilitate his pastoral and evangelism work.

The brand new Toyota Prado zero millage was received by the Dean St Mathew’s Cathedral Kyamate the Very Rev Can Cranmer Mwesigwa, and Bishop’s secretary Ruth Mwebembezi on behalf of the Bishop.

The brand new vehicle was delivered at the Bishop’s residence at Kyamate Hill in Ntungamo town by the State House Comptroller, Ms. Jane Barekye, who thanked the Diocesan Bishop, Rt Rev Nathan Ahimbisibwe for preaching gospel of salvation and developmental growth for the wellbeing of all parishioners in the diocese.

Ms. Barekye noted that His Excellency President Museveni and the first lady Janet Museveni donating a vehicle to the diocese, they are also facilitating God’s ministry.

While receiving the donation, the Dean St Mathew’s Cathedral Kyamate the Very Rev Can Cranmer Mwesigwa thanked President Museveni and the first lady Janet Museveni for donating a second vehicle after realizing the first vehicle of 2012 is old and not in good condition.

Speaking to our reporter on phone, South Ankole Diocesan Bishop the Rt Rev Nathan Ahimbisibwe expressed his gratitude to President Museveni and the first lady Mama Janet Museveni for the donation.

Bishop Ahimbisibwe also commended them for donating 10 heifer cows to the diocesan clerics to help them to get daily milk recently.

The donations came ahead of the presidential visit to Ntungamo District this week on Saturday 1st March, 2025.
