NEWS- The Rukungiri Municipality Member of Parliament Hon Dr Elisa Rutahigwa has called Rukungiri traders’ development Sacco members to always borrow money to recognized institutions at low interest rate such as microfinance support centre if their Saccos are to develop.
Rutahigwa revealed this message on Friday as a chief guest during the 5thgeneral meeting of Rukungiri District Traders Development SACCO that was held at Riverside hotel in Rukungiri municipality.
He urged traders to always have some ample time and attend such annual meetings and listen to resolutions for the benefit of their Sacco to develop instead of targeting registration and escape away and after start criticizing the committee members.

The legislator hailed Byaruhanga Chrysostom Rwakana, the former Sacco chairperson and members for reviving this Sacco that is setting pace for other financial institutions.
Kansiime Boaz Matita who’s eyeing the Rukungiri Municipal mayorship asked traders to always seek for guidance form technical people especially commercial officers who will help them in mobilizing and modes of maintaining members’ finances.
